Dara´s love of dance started with moving to the latin rhythms growing up in the Caribbean. He comes from a dancing family, doing yoga at age 3 with his mum (in case you were wondering how such a tall man can be so very bendy); he’s one of three brothers who dance, teach and organise events around the world. The other brother, we don’t talk about.

Dara has been teaching Blues and Lindy Hop since 2011 and lived where he lay his head for almost 5 years. Moving between scenes and teaching workshops around Europe, he earned his chops while putting more than a few stamps on his passport.

Dara’s approach to teaching always begins with the music; breaking down movements to their simplest components and experimenting, combining, and embodying them in the music. Daire’s classes provide the tools and techniques to better connect with the music and express yourself within the framework of the dance.
